What it is:   

The new "front door" for the UTSC campus, the Arts & Administration Building is a multi-purpose academic building to accommodate enrolment growth.

 

Opening date:   

Groundbreaking, April 14, 2004
Official opening, October 7, 2005

What's in it:   

Nine classrooms and teaching studios with specialized facilites for the visual and performing arts program, 23 academic offices, study spaces, and a state of the art accessible examination and study facility. The Arts & Administration Building also has a Welcome Centre, the registrar's front desk and administrative offices. The buidling features a green roof and is undergoing LEED certification for sustainable design.
