What it is:   
Expanded library facilities, including electronic information systems, teaching and learning services and academic resources.
Opening date:   
September 2003, official opening Nov. 5/03
What's in it:   
A completely renovated library (one of the first digital libraries in Canada), improved work / study spaces, the Sun Microsystems Informatics Commons, and a 500-seat lecture theatre which can be used for musical performances as well as academic lectures. The ARC is also home to the Doris McCarthy Gallery.
Primary users:   
University of Toronto at Scarborough campus community. U of T has the third largest research library system in North America, after Harvard and Yale.
